2nd Annual Golf Tourney and Other Events

The date for the 2nd Annual Jack Ryan Gillham Memorial Golf Tournament is set for June 20, 2009 at Oakridge Golf Course in Huntsville, AR. We are very excited about this event and hope to have as good of a turnout as last year...or even better!! Last year we surpassed our fundraising goal and were able to help several families over the remainder of 2008. We will be looking for silent auction donations, volunteers and sponsors in the coming months. Please, let me know if you're interested by emailing me at bethany@jtgfoundation.org.

The JRG Foundation has added two new events to our list of fundraisers for the coming year. We will have the 2nd annual Jack's Cruise for Compassion Poker Run in April, a fall festival in October, Breakfast With Santa Pancake Breakfast in December and of course, the golf tournament in June.

We're looking forward to getting back into the swing of things as far as events are concerned. We've had a nice little break to re-group and make some positive changes and moves forward with the foundation over the past few months.

Here are some pictures from our 2008 events.

Our Families

As you know, the mission of the JRG Foundation is to offer financial assistance to families of critically ill babies. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to help support these families. They are helping us keep Jack's memory alive.

Here are some of the babies, whose families we have assisted and grown to love.

Leighton

Brody

Please keep these families in your prayers.

Giving Your Gifts

On Sunday, we will make a trip to Arkansas Children's Hospital and Ronald McDonald House to deliver the items that were donated to the foundation at Jack's 2nd Annual Baby Shower in October. It's always such a bittersweet feeling to walk back into the place where Jack lived and then died, but what an honor to be able to give these things in his memory. I know he's proud.

So, thank you to those of you who attended the shower and gave to us so that we can give to others. We are forever grateful.
